What is Kingdom Kids?

KINGDOM KIDS is a Child Development Center which has been established to provide a Christ-centered approach to learning. We present an alternative for Christian parents who are looking for more than day care, but rather desire for their child to receive biblical, moral, and academic instruction in a warm, loving environment.

Who Can Come?

KINGDOM KIDS serves ages 2 years through 12 years old. We are open from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.

We acknowledge that: "...God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation, he that feareth him and worketh righteousness is accepted with him." (Acts 10:34b-35) Therefore, we welcome children of any race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, and activities made available through KINGDOM KIDS Child Development Center.

What Will My Child Learn?

KINGDOM KIDS will teach your child that "...the reverence and fear of God are basic to all wisdom. Knowing God results in every other kind of understanding." Proverbs 9:10 (TLB)

KINGDOM KIDS has designed a curriculum to encourage children’s natural curiosity and provide biblical instruction through each unit taught. We believe children learn best by doing. Therefore, the teacher acts as a facilitator in the learning process by guiding children to new discoveries through hands on experiences. Each classroom has learning centers such as: math, science, dramatic play, language arts, and creative art, which provides activities that promote the development of math, language, reasoning, and writing skills.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

Our staff recognizes that after a structured day at school, children need an opportunity to explore other interests and get involved in social interaction with their peers.

We also realize that parents want to have some quality time to spend with their children each evening without the interference of homework. Thus, we have designed our program to accommodate these needs.

The After School Program is for children ages 5-12. We pick up from several area schools as well as provide Kindergarten drop-off. The daily schedule provides for homework time, a nutritious snack, indoor/outside activities, and classroom games.

We also provide tutorial assistance at the parent’s request. Tutoring is provided by trained volunteers.

EXTENDED DAY CARE

Extended Day Care will be provided on school holidays and teacher workdays.

Special activities and field trips are usually scheduled on these days and an additional fee may be required for these activities.

SUMMER CAMP

Kingdom Kids Summer Camp is designed to provide a variety of recreational, instructional and fun field trips for children ages 5-12. Your child will have an opportunity to participate in activities such as: swimming, skating and bowling. Your child will also have an opportunity to go on various field trips.

A unique part of our program is "Bible Break." Bible Break is a weekly lesson centered around the monthly bible theme which incorporates arts-n-crafts, games, and drama into it in order to enhance each lesson.

LUNCH

Children will be served a hot lunch along with two snacks daily.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Kingdom Kids offers extracurricular activities to enhance the children’s daily learning experiences. Your child will have the opportunity to broaden their horizon through activities such as:

Tap/Ballet* Gymnastics* Skating

*Some of these activities are provided by outside agencies and will require additional registration and tuition fees by the agency providing the service.
